AEP Foundation Funds Student Leadership Opportunities

Columbus, OH. – March 3, 2021

The AEP Foundation announced their support of the iBELIEVE Foundation’s leadership programming with a $52,500 donation. The donation directly helps provide cost-free leadership development opportunities to students in the Appalachian region.

AEP and the AEP Foundation have been long time supporters of the iBELIEVE Foundation and it’s mission. “We are very grateful for the AEP Foundation’s continued support of the iBELIEVE Foundation and the youth of Appalachia. Our mission of providing opportunities for growth, learning, and connection to the youth of the region is more important now, than it ever has been. Providing those opportunities, at no cost to our students, would not be possible without the generosity of our donors. We look forward to our partnership with AEP and the AEP Foundation in the future,” said iBELIEVE’s Acting Executive Director, Stefani Murray.

Although iBELIEVE’s plans for programs in Summer 2021 have yet to be decided because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the AEP Foundation’s donation will support either virtual Summer Workshops or in-person Summer Workshops if they can be hosted safely.
